1. Roll Call  and Open Public Meetings Act: This meeting is being held in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act by posting a notice to The Observer and The Home News/Tribune and providing the same to the Borough.

2. Board Policy:  It is the Policy of the Borough of South Plainfield’s Zoning Board of Adjustment not to hear any new cases after l0:00 pm and no new witness after l0:30 pm.

      Mr. Barletta made the motion, seconded by Mr. Esposito, to grant the applicant’s request for a use variance and site plan for the erection of a sign approval subject to additional voluntary conditions. Those in Favor: Esposito, Miglis, Campagna, Gustafson, Leonardis, Barletta and Thomas.

2. Case # 5-08—N.Y. SMSA Limited Partnership/Verizon

      Mr. Barletta made the motion, seconded by Mrs. Campagna, to grant the applicant’s request for a variance for the erection of a monopole, site plan approval and an 8’ height variance subject to additional voluntary conditions.
