- Dan Gallagher lives at 315 Margaret Court with his wife of 42 years,
Marion. Their son, Michael also lives in South Plainfield with his wife, Kim, and
their son, Brian. Their eldest son, Dan, Jr., lives in Warren with his wife, Linda and
their son, Daniel III. and twins, Brad and Jake.

- Dan was first elected to the Borough Council in 1983,
re-elected in 1986, elected Mayor in 1987 and re-elected Mayor in 1995 and 1999 and 2002.
He is the only Mayor to serve 4 terms.

- Dan, who recently retired, was employed by Verizon as an
Account Executive. He had 37 years of experience in telecommunications and was personally
responsible for interacting with various levels of state, county and local government. He
was responsible for over 6000 public telephone installations representing an annual budget
in excess of 10 million dollars.
He is currently employed by the NJTPA, GSP Division in Traffic Operations.

- Elected Councilman in 1995, 1998 and again in 2001, Dennis
is 48 years old and has lived in South Plainfield for the past 23 years. Dennis holds a
Bachelor of Science Degree from Monmouth College with a major in Business Administration.
He is presently employed as a Management Specialist Administrator for Middlesex County
Public Health Department.

- Dennis lives at 125 Strong Place with his wife Michelle and
their three children. He is a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and a past member of the
South Plainfield Taxpayers Advisory Group. Dennis has a long history of volunteerism in
the Borough both at Sacred Heart School and the Junior Baseball Program.

- Elected Councilman in 2001and again in 2004, Charlie is 46
years old and has lived in South Plainfield all his life. He graduated from Rutgers
University with a degree in Management and is currently employed by CSC Consulting as an
Account Executive.
Charlie lives at 2021 Sims Place with his wife, Sherry and
3 daughters, Dana, Kristie and Michelle. He is a past member of the Producing Board
of the South Plainfield Summer Drama Workshop and has coached his daughters in both t-ball
and softball.
Councilman Butrico chairs the Economic Development
Committee and serves as a member of the Public Safety and Finance committees. He is
currently the liaison to the Planning Board and the Business Advisory Group.

Elected Councilman in 2006, Matt is 33 years old and has
lived in South Plainfield all his life. He attended Sacred Heart School, South
Plainfield High School and graduated in 1990 from College of New Jersey with a Bachelors
of Science in Economics. He is a Vice President with a Fortune 100 Financial
Services Company in Pennington NJ and NYC
Matt lives at 26 Hidden Court with his wife, Kimberly,
and their twin sons, Joseph and Harrison. He is a communicant of Sacred Heart
Church, a member Hopewell Responsible Citizenship Committee and a member of the Public
Celebrations Committee.
Councilman Anesh chairs the Public Works Committee and serves
as member of the Economic Development and Health, Welfare & Environment Committees.

Bachelors of Science in Marketing. He is a self-employed business and property manager.

with the Environmental Commission, Habitat for Humanity, Edison Valley Playhouse. Is

- John has two children, Matthew and Megan. He is
a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church and is a member of the Junior Baseball Club where he
has coached for the past 5 years. John served as Council President (1995-1997) and
has served as acting Mayor. In addition, he was the chairperson of the Middlesex County
Planning Board.

Assemblyman Patrick Diegnan
is a life long resident of South Plainfield. He
is a graduate of South Plainfield High School, where he was inducted into the Hall of Fame
in 2002. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree
and Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University. He
is a past President of the Sacred Heart Parish Council. Patrick opened his law office in
South Plainfield in 1974 and was first appointed Borough Attorney in 1984. He and his wife of 30 years, Anita, have two
daughters, Heather and Tara.
Mr. Diegnan took his first oath of office as a member of the New Jersey
General Assembly in 2002. Speaker of the General Assembly, Joseph Roberts has appointed
Mr. Diegnan to the position of Parliamentarian for the New Jersey General Assembly.
He also serves as Chairman of the Committee on Higher Education, is a member of the
Education Committee and the Regulated Professions and Independent Authorities Committee.
