8.   ORDINANCE – Final Adoption

     #1793A – An ordinance amending Ordinance #1793, regulating the operation of traffic control device, more specifically at the intersection at Durham Avenue and Hamilton Boulevard

     #1808 – An ordinance authorizing the Borough of South Plainfield to accept a donation of real property identified as Block 451, Lot 3, from Edith Fantauzzo.

     #1809 – An ordinance regulating the parking, stopping and standing of any motor vehicle on a portion of Hancock Street between New Market Avenue and Block 329, Lots 13 and 14.

9.   ORDINANCE – Introduction

     #1811 – An ordinance amending the Borough’s Development Review Ordinance to establish requirements and criteria for the submission of a recycling plan in connection with land development applications.

     #1812 – An ordinance revising Chapter 151 of the Code of the Borough of South Plainfield entitled: “Recycling”.

10. RESOLUTIONS

     #002 – Authorize the release of performance bond posted by Strong Tower Development for public improvements to Block 365, Lots 12.01, 18 and 19 (Kosciusko Avenue).

     #037 – Authorize the Chief Financial Officer to issue refund check(s) in the amount of $933.77 to the owner of Block 528 Lot 46.04 (4801 Stelton Road) due to an overpayment of sewer taxes.

     #038 – Authorize the Chief Financial Officer to issue refund check(s) in the amount of $21,146.63 to the owner of Block 528.01 Lot 46.03 (200 Helen Street) due to an overpayment of taxes.

     #039 – Authorize the Mayor and Municipal Clerk to execute the Inter-local Services Agreement with Middlesex County for Hazardous Materials Cost Recovery Program for the three year period January 1, 2008 and December 31, 2010.

     #040 – Appoint Virginia O’Brien as a member of the Taxpayers Advisory Group for the three year term expiring December 31, 2010.

     #041 - Authorize the renewal license for a Self-Service Laundromat for the year 2008 in accordance with Ch. 122 of the Code of the Borough of South Plainfield. The applicant have met all Borough requirements and all appropriate fees have been paid.

     #042 – Appoint various members of the Borough to the Domestic Violence Crisis Intervention Team.

     #043 – Appoint Captain Paul Brembt as the Boroughs 911 Coordinator effective immediately. This appointment is made without any monetary consideration.

     #044 – Authorization is hereby given to execute the Stipulation of Settlement pertaining to Block 38, Lot 8 (324 Firth Place).

     #045 – Authorize the Place-to-Place Transfer (extension of Premises) of Plenary Retail Consumption License No. 1222-33-  012-009 issued to Norman’s Bar & Grill, Inc., d/b/a KC’s Korner for premises located at 100 Oak Tree Avenue effective February 25, 2008.

     #046 – Approve the waiver of the Fire Permit Fee for the South Plainfield Summer Drama Workshop for a fundraiser that will be held on February 24, 2008 at the South Plainfield High School Auditorium.

     #047 – Accept the resignation of Vincent Buttiglieri, Municipal Clerk, effective March 5, 2008.

     #048 – Accept the Notice of Intent to Retire from Court Administrator Patricia Vargo effective March 28, 2008.

     #049 – Appoint the members of the Helen Street Ad-Hoc Committee effective February 25, 2008.

11. RESOLUTIONS – Executive Session

     Exec #2P - Authorize the entering into Executive Session in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, P.L. 1975, Ch. 231 for the following item: Contract – Health Department Fees; Contract – Spicer Avenue Improvements; Contract – Police Department Detective Facility; Personnel – AFSCME and Teamster Grievance.
