7. ORDINANCES – Public Hearing and Final Adoption

     #1716 – A capital ordinance appropriating $25,000.00 for the acquisition of capital improvements,

                more specifically for renovations to the storm sewer and manhole capital improvements.

     #1717 – Amend Ch. 67 of the Code of the Borough of South Plainfield entitled: “Alcoholic

                        Beverages”.

     #1718 – An ordinance amending the fees for membership to the South Plainfield Community Pool

                        for the year 2006.

8. ORDINANCES – Introduction

     #1719 – An ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance of the Borough of South Plainfield, by

                        repealing the existing Section 1206 regarding development fees and adopting a new

                        development fee ordinance to establish a standard for collection, maintenance and

                        expenditure of development fees for the purpose of providing low and moderate income

                        housing.

     #1720 – An ordinance supplementing the Zoning Ordinance of the Borough of South Plainfield to

                        facilitate the provisions of affordable housing in the third round housing cycle in

                        connection with residential and nonresidential growth and development.  

9. RESOLUTIONS

     #017 – Authorize the release of performance bond posted by Durham Plaza, LLC for public

                        improvements to Block 541, Lots 10.02 & 15 (110-136 Durham Avenue).

     #018 – Authorize the release of performance bond posted by Rescue House of Prayer for public

                        improvements to Block 296, Lot 1.01 (1519 Astor Street).

     #019 – Authorize the release of performance bond posted by Alpino Homes for public

                        improvements to Block 118, Lot 3 (421 Walter Street).

     #020 – Authorize the Chief Financial Officer to issue refund check(s) in the amount of $2,011.84.

     #021 – Authorize the Chief Financial Officer to issue refund check(s) in the amount of $8,035.20

                        due to a successful tax appeal.

     #022 – Issue an On-Premise 50/50 raffle license to the Grant Elementary School PTO for February

                        25, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in accordance with all Borough and Legalized

                        Games of Chance Control Commission regulations. All State and Borough fees have

                        been paid.

     #023 – Issue an Off-Premise Merchandise raffle license to the Grant Elementary School PTO for

                        February 25, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in accordance with all Borough and

                        Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission regulations. All State and Borough fees 

                        have been paid.

     #024 – Adopt a Ch. 159 Budget Amendment to include $24,000 Grant from the Senior Citizen

                        Benjamin Foundation Grant.

     #025 – Adopt a Ch.0159 Budget Amendment to include $10,207.54 from the State of New Jersey

                        Drunk Driving Enforcement Fund.

     #026 – Authorize the renewal of the 2006 Wrecker Licenses for those applicants that have met all

                        Borough requirements per Ch. 184 of the Code of the Borough of South Plainfield.

     #027 – Approve the amended Housing Element and Fair Share Plan as approved by the South

                        Plainfield Planning Board per the requirements of the Council on Affordable Housing.

     #028 – Authorize the entering into Executive Session for items approved by the Open Public

                        Meetings Act, P.L. 1975, Ch. 231.
