8. ORDINANCES – Public Hearing and Final Adoption

     #1719 – An ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance of the Borough of South Plainfield, by

                repealing the existing Section 1206 regarding development fees and adopting a new

                development fee ordinance to establish a standard for collection, maintenance and

                expenditure of development fees for the purpose of providing low and moderate income

                 housing.

     #1720 – An ordinance supplementing the Zoning Ordinance of the Borough of South Plainfield to

                        facilitate the provisions of affordable housing in the third round housing cycle in

                        connection with residential and nonresidential growth and development.

9. ORDINANCES – Introduction

     #1721 – An ordinance rescinding Ordinance #1215 entitled: :An Ordinance establishing no left turn

                regulations on Maple Avenue in the Borough of South Plainfield, County of Middlesex,

                State of New Jersey”.

10. RESOLUTIONS

     #030 – Authorize the release of performance bond posted by Northeast Developers, Inc. for public

                        improvements to Block 379, Lot 9 (845 Delmore Avenue).

     #031 – Authorize the renewal license for coin-operated amusement devices for the year 2006 in

                        accordance with Ch. 70, Art. III of the Code of the Borough of South Plainfield. The

                        applications have met all Borough requirements and all appropriate fees have been paid.

     #032 – Authorize the Chief Financial Officer to issue refund check(s) totaling $$2,144.39. The

following recipients received said refunds: Joyce Stubbs, Block 3, Lot 43 ($1,097.26)

                        and Scott & Melissa Hartman, Block 148, Lot 27 ($1,047.13).

     #033 – Issue an Off-Premise 50/50 raffle license to the Suburban Women’s Club of South Plainfield

                        for April 6, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in accordance with all Borough and Legalized Games of

                        Chance Control Commission regulations. All State and Borough fees have been paid.

     #034 – Issue an Off-Premise Merchandise raffle license to the South Plainfield High School PTA

                        for March 11, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. in accordance with all Borough and

                        Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission regulations. All State and Borough fees

     have been paid.

     #035 – Issue an On-Premise 50/50 raffle license to the South Plainfield High School PTA

                        for March 11, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. in accordance with all Borough and

                        Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission regulations. All State and Borough fees

     have been paid.

     #036 – Issue an Off-Premise Merchandise raffle license to the Franklin School PTA for March 18,

                        2006 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight in accordance with all Borough and Legalized

                        Games of Chance Control Commission regulations. All State and Borough fees have 

     been paid.

     #037 – Issue an On-Premise 50/50 raffle license to the Sacred Heart School HSA for April 29,

                        2006 from 5:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. in accordance with all Borough and Legalized

                        Games of Chance Control Commission regulations. All State and Borough fees have 

     been paid.

     #038 – Issue an On-Premise Merchandise raffle license to the Sacred Heart School HSA for April 29,

                        2006 from 5:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. in accordance with all Borough and Legalized

                        Games of Chance Control Commission regulations. All State and Borough fees have 

     been paid.

     #039 – Adopt a Ch. 159 Budget Amendment to include $8,680.19 Grant from the State of New

                        Jersey for the Borough’s annual Bullet Proof Vest Grant.

     #040 – Adopt a Ch. 159 Budget Amendment to include $14,110.00 from the State of New Jersey

                        Department of Environmental Protection Tier A Stormwater Management Grant.

     #041 – Adopt a Ch. 159 Budget Amendment to include $5,101.74 from the State of New Jersey

                        for the Borough’s annual Body Armor Replacement Grant.

     #042 – Authorize the hiring of Danielle Bonaventure as a Public Safety Telecommunicator – Trainee

                        effective January 23, 2006 at a salary commensurate with the current salary ordinance.

     #043 – Authorize the Mayor and Municipal Clerk to execute the Grant Agreement with the South

                        Plainfield Soccer Association for the use of Borough land for the period January 1, 2006

                        through December 31, 2006.

     #044 – Authorize the Mayor and Municipal Clerk to execute the Inter-Local Services Agreement

with Woodbridge Township for the continuance of an industrial water sampling program for the period January 1, 2006 through December 31, 2006.

     #045 – Authorize a contract with Robert T. Norton, Esq. to represent a borough police officer in a

                        matter of litigation at a cost not to exceed $5,000.00.

     #046 – Authorize the Mayor and Municipal Clerk to execute the Inter-Local Services Agreement

                        with the Free Public Library of South Plainfield which will facilitate the reimbursement

                        of the cost of certain services associated with the construction of the new library.

     #047 – Authorize the entering into Executive Session for items approved by the Open Public

                        Meetings Act, P.L. 1975, Ch. 231.
