10. ORDINANCES – Public Hearing and Final Adoption

     #1726 – An ordinance supplementing the Zoning Ordinance of the Borough of South Plainfield,

                1992, to provide regulations of maintenance of affordable housing units.

     #1727 – An ordinance to foster openness of government and provide citizens with information

concerning various appointed volunteer municipal positions which exist within the Borough of South Plainfield.

     #1729 – An ordinance appropriating $360,000 for various capital improvements within the

                        Borough of South Plainfield, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey

11. RESOLUTIONS

     #090 – Authorize the release of performance bond posted by Triple C Builders for public

                        improvements to Block 346, Lots 1.01, 1.02, 2 and 3 (400 Kosciusko Avenue, 401,

                        407 & 411 Tremont Avenue).

     #091 – Authorize the reduction of performance bond posted by Elite Landscaping for public

                        improvements to Block 307, Lots 3, 4 & 5 (Roosevelt Avenue).

     #092 – Authorize the Chief Financial Officer to issue refund check(s) in the amount of $1,175.24

                        to the owner of Block 528, Lot 43 (Shirley Lui).

     #093 – Approve a block party request from Gary Bodyl for June 25, 2006 (July 2, 2006 raindate) on

                        Spicer Avenue from Green Street to the dead end.                                                                                                     

     #094 – Approve a block party request from Nancy Hoffman for July 8, 2006 (no raindate) on

                        Grant Avenue from Franklin Avenue to Melrose Avenue.

     #095 – Implement driving and parking regulations during Our Lady of Czestochowa Feast of

                        St. Anthony which will be held from June 6 through June 11, 2006.

     #096 – Approve Ch. 159 Budget Amendment to include $18,533.33 received from the State of New

                        Jersey, Department of Environmental Protection, Clean Communities Grant.

     #097 – Issue an On-Premise 50/50 raffle license to St. Stephen the Protomartyr Antochian Orthodox

Church October 14, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. in accordance with all Borough and Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission regulations. All State fees have been paid and all Borough fees have been waived.

     #098 – Issue an Off-Premise Merchandise raffle license to St. Stephen the Protomartyr Antochian

Orthodox Church October 14, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. in accordance with all Borough and Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission regulations. All State fees have been paid and all Borough fees have been waived.

     #099 – Authorize contract with ATC Computing to manage the Borough’s computer systems and

              personnel effective April 2006 through March 2007 at a cost not to exceed $17,460.00.

     #100 – Authorize the hiring of Stephanie Miszczenski as a part-time Public Safety Telecommunicator

                        at a rate of $14.93 per hour effective April 18, 2006.

     #101 – Authorize the Mayor and Municipal Clerk to execute the Grant Agreement with Middlesex

                        County by where the Borough received $323,000 from the Open Space Recreation Trust

Fund to be utilized for various recreation improvements.

     #102 – Authorize the hiring of Karen Plasse as a Clerk Transcriber in the Police Department at an

                        annual salary of $25,000 effective April 24, 2006.

     #103 – Authorize the hiring of Garry Aumack as a temporary plumbing inspector effective April

                        12, 2006 at an hourly rate of $30.00.

     #104 – Authorize the entering into Executive Session for items approved by the Open Public

                        Meetings Act, P.L. 1975, Ch. 231.

     #105 – Authorize a contract with Lerch, Vinci & Higgins, LLP at a cost not to exceed $10,000.00

              to review the School Board Budget should it be defeated by the voters on April 18, 2006.
