9. ORDINANCES – Public Hearing and Final Adoption

     #1730 – An ordinance supplementing the Zoning Ordinance of the Borough of South Plainfield

                providing for the administrative mechanisms for the maintenance of affordable housing
                units.

     #1731 – An ordinance establishing stormwater controls in the Borough of South Plainfield, County of

Middlesex, State of New Jersey.

     #1732 – A bond ordinance appropriating $240,000 for the engineering design for improvements to

New Market Avenue in the Borough of South Plainfield.

10. RESOLUTIONS

     #120 – Approve a Ch. 159 Budget Amendment to include a $1,000.00 Grant received from the VFW

                        Memorial Post #6763 to be utilized for Police Helmets/Body Armor.                                                                                                      

     #121 – Authorize the sale by assignment of Tax Sale Certificate #94-43 in the amount of $38,056.07,

(Block 388, Lot 13 – Mack Place), which is assessed to Don Smalley Construction Co.

     #122 – Accept the immediate resignations of part-time Public safety Telecommunicators Eric

Milstein and Christine Abbatemarco.

     #123 – Authorize the hiring of part-time Public Safety Telecommunicators Brian Nodes and Morgan

Harrington effective May 22, 2006 at a rate of $14.63 per hour.

     #124 – Authorize the purchase of a contract with Laserspeed to service fourteen printers located

throughout the Borough at a cost of $2,645.00 for the period April 8, 2206 to April 7,

2007.

     #125 – Authorize the waiver of all permit fees, except electrical, associated with the installation of

magnetic doors at the High School and the lowering of the pull stations at John F. Kennedy Elementary School.

     #126 – Employ seasonal workforce at the South Plainfield Community Pool for the period May 1

through September 6, 2006.

     #127 – Extend the employment of part-time building inspector George Deluca for a six month

period commencing May 16, 2006 at a rate of $25.00 per hour for a maximum of 19 hours per week.

     #128 – Authorize the entering into Executive Session for items approved by the Open Public

Meetings Act, P.L. 1975, Ch. 231

     #129 – Authorize the waiver of all fees, except electrical, for the installation of new diving boards

and concrete at the South Plainfield Community Pool.   

     #130 – Authorize the Mayor and municipal Clerk to execute the Developers Agreement with Durham

Avenue, LLC.

     #131 – Authorize the waiver of all fees, except electrical, for the installation of new scoreboards at

                        both the High School (Ed Jost Field) and the Middle School.
