11. ORDINANCES – Public Hearing and Final Adoption

     #1733 – An ordinance providing for certain parking regulations at the Office of Emergency

Management Building.

     #1734 – A bond ordinance providing for the construction of the new public library and related

                        design work and construction document preparation appropriating $450,000 therefor

                        and authorizing the issuance of $425,000 bonds or notes to finance part of the cost

thereof.

     #1735 – An ordinance amending Ordinance #1456 and Ordinance #1710 establishing penalties  for

violation of said ordinances in accordance with New Jersey State Law.

     #1736 – A bond ordinance providing for improvements to the Community Pool appropriating

$60,000 therefor from the Pool Utility Fund and authorizing the issuance of $57,000 bonds or notes to finance the cost thereof.

12. ORDINANCES – Introduction

     #1737 – An ordinance providing for the sale of municipal land known as Block 399, portion of Lot 6

                        (Kosciusko Avenue) to Guy Moretti in the amount of $90,000.00.

     #1738 – An ordinance providing for the sale of municipal land known as Block 362, Lot 6.03 

(Spicer Avenue) to Fourth MPPL Realty Co. in the amount of $90,000.00.

     #1739 – An ordinance providing for the sale of municipal land known as Block 341, Lot 1.02 

(west side of Kosciusko Avenue) to Bryan and Yolanda Scipio in the amount of

$80,000.00.

     #1740 – An ordinance providing for the exchange of municipal land with Michael, Tony and

Tomasso Grasso by where the Borough will receive Block 346 Lot 5 in exchange for Block 352 Lot 1. The Borough will also receive the amount of $25,000.00.

     #1741 – An ordinance amending Chapter 143 of the Code of the Borough of South Plainfield

                        entitled: “Peace and Good Order” increasing the penalties for violation in accordance

                        with New Jersey State Law.

13. RESOLUTIONS

     #160 – Authorize the release of performance bond posted by Strong Tower Development for public

                        improvements to Block 170 Lots 36 and 37 (Lyndsey Court).

     #161 – Authorize the hiring of the following individuals as part-time groundskeepers at the

Recycling Center at a rate of $9.79 per hour: Bernard Ettere, William Daly and Ryan

Fredericks.

     #162 – Authorize the renewal of the Crossing Guard contract with DMS Systems for the school

                        year 2006-2007. This contract is being renewed in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-15.

     #163 - Authorize the renewal of the Street Sweeping contract with Garden State Street Sweeping

                        for the period July 1,  2006 through June 30, 2007. This contract is being renewed in

accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-15.

     #164 – Authorize the waiver of the Fire Permit fee in the amount of $42.00 for Project Graduation

                        which was held on June 22, 2006 at the Ricochet Health and Racquet Center.

     #165 –Authorize the waiver of the Fire Permit fee in the amount of $42.00 for the Knights of

Columbus Acoustic Concert which will be held on July 8, 2006.

     #166 – Authorize the Mayor and Municipal Clerk to execute the Grant and Conservation Restriction

                        Agreement between the Borough and Middlesex County for funding in the amount of

                        $90,000 to be used by the Borough to purchase Block 341 Lot 6.

     #167 - Authorize the Mayor and Municipal Clerk to execute the Grant and Conservation Restriction

                        Agreement between the Borough and Middlesex County for funding in the amount of

                        $93,000 to be used by the Borough to purchase Block 403 Lot 8.

     #168 – Approve the Temporary Budget for FY2007 – Total General Appropriations in the amount of

                        $7,815,500.00; Total Sewer Utility in the amount of $1,142,600.00 and Total Pool Utility

in the amount of $93,200.00.

     #169 – Authorize the entering into Executive Session for items approved by the Open Public

                        Meetings Act, P.L. 1975, Ch. 231.

     #170 – Employ seasonal workforce at the South Plainfield Community Pool for the period May 1

                        through September 6, 2006.

     #171 – Authorize the Municipal Clerk to issue 2006-2007 liquor license renewals to licensees that

                        have met all State and Borough requirements and have paid all the appropriate fees.

     #172 – Authorize the Chief Financial Officer to issue refund check(s) in the amount of $1,282.86

                        to the owner of Block 160, Lot 10 due to an overpayment of taxes.

     #173 – Authorize the Tax Collector to cancel monies levied for the year 2006 in the amount of

$2,394.02 to the owner of Block 277, Lot 12 who has qualified an 100% disabled according to N.J.S.A. 54:4-3.30.

     #174 – Accept the resignation of Stacey Zereconski as a Police Records Clerk effective June 16,

2006.

     #175 – Authorize a “Professional Services” contract with PMK Group to perform repairs to the

                        gasoline distribution system located at the Public Works facility at a cost no to exceed

$28,026.00.

     #176 – Approve the person-to-person transfer of liquor License #1222-33-008-007 from Cordon

Bleu, Inc. to Sonador, Inc. effective June 26, 2006.

     #177 – Authorize the Mayor and Municipal Clerk to execute the labor agreement with PBA 100 for

                        the 5-year period from January 1, 2006 through December 31, 2010.
