8. ORDINANCES – Adoption

     #1776 – An ordinance restricting parking on portions of Hamilton Boulevard in the Borough of South Plainfield, County of Middlesex, state of New Jersey, as recommended by the Traffic Safety Division of the Police Department.

     #1777 – An ordinance providing for the compensation of various Borough employees
and the method of payment of said compensation for the years 2006 through 2010.

9. ORDINANCES – Introduction

     #1778 – An ordinance amending and supplementing Ordinance #1278 entitled:
“Zoning Ordinance of the Borough of South Plainfield, 1992” regarding billboards.

     #1779 – An ordinance regulating parking on certain streets in the Borough of South Plainfield, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as recommended by the
Traffic Safety Division of the Police Department.

     #1780 – Bond Ordinance providing for various roadway and intersection improvements, by and in the Borough of South Plainfield appropriating $645,000.00 therefor and authorizing the issuance of $425,000.00 bonds or notes of the Borough to finance part of the cost thereof.

10. RESOLUTIONS

     #046 – Approve a Capital Budget Amendment in the amount of $425,000.00 for various road improvements along Oak Tree Avenue, South Plainfield Avenue and at the New Market Avenue and South Clinton Avenue intersection.

     #047 – Authorize the waiving of the Fire permit fess in the amount of $42.00 for the Girl Scouts of Washington Rock for an event being held at the PAL on June 24, 2007.

     #048 – Authorize the waiving of all fees (except electrical) including the Fire Permit fee associated with the South Plainfield Volunteer Fire Department’s 100th Anniversary festivities.

     #049 – Authorize the promotion of Keely Heyman to the position of Public safety Telecommunicator – Supervisor effective April 1, 2007 at a salary commensurate with the current salary ordinance.

     #050 – Authorize the Mayor and Municipal Clerk to execute a contract with Colonel Lee M. Fox Auctions to conduct an auction of municipal property that the Borough has deemed   no longer useful.

     #051 – Authorize the Mayor and Municipal Clerk to execute a contract with Cooperative   Communications, Inc. to handle the Borough’s telecommunications billing effective March 1, 2007.

     #052 – Authorize a “Professional Services” contract with CME Associates to perform the design phase, bid phase and construction administration services associated with the road   improvements along a portion of South Plainfield Avenue in an amount not to exceed     $41,800.00.
