#1853 entitled: An Ordinance authorizing the Governing Body and CFO to determine the

                       viability of  reverting from the State Fiscal Year to a Calendar Fiscal Year.

8.  RESOLUTIONS

09-074 Waive municipal raffle fees ($400.00) for Open Your Heart to Children Battling
           Cancer Vintage Harley Raffle.

09-075 Waive the Fire Permit Fee ($42.00) for the South Plainfield Soccer Club’s
           Comedy night at the PAL on March 28, 2009

09-076 Waive the Fire Permit Fee ($42.00) for the South Plainfield Chapter of
           Help Darfur Now’s concert at the PAL building on Friday, March 27th   

09-077 Support Assembly Bill 3072, the “Dismal Swamp Preservation Act”, sponsored
           by Assemblyman Peter Barnes, III which establishes the Dismal Swamp      
           Preservation Commission.

09-078 Authorize CME Associates to perform engineering services associated with the
           New Durham Road and Corporate Blvd Project, Phase II Preliminary Plan as well
                as a review and comments on the Semi-Final and Final Plans at a cost not to            exceed $2500.00

09-079 Authorize the U.S. EPA access to borough properties as part of the Remedial             Investigation/Feasibility Study for the Cornell-Dubilier Superfund site for the                             
           purpose of installing groundwater monitoring wells and support equipment,
           taking groundwater samples and to perform property restoration activities

09-080 Authorize the purchase of Motorola Wireless C & E, Radio/Pagers & Equipment
          with funding from the Federal Firefighters Grant, Account # C-04-55-903-002-901,
          at a cost not to exceed $24,478.20, utilizing N.J. State Contract # A53804

09-081 Approve an Inter-local Agreement between the Borough of South Plainfield and
     the New Jersey Dept. of Transportation to expand it’s milling and paving project
     at 287, Exit Ramp # 4, Northbound on Durham Avenue to include the roadway
     up to and including Helen Street at a cost not to exceed $25,000 and to
     include milling, paving, striping and traffic repairs.

09-82       Appoint Carl Fleming to perform appraisals on the properties affected by the
   New Durham Avenue/Corporate Blvd County intersection project. 

09-083 Appoint MaryAnn Nergaard, Esq. of Woolson, Stuphen, Anderson and Nergaard as
           Tax Appeal Counsel to represent the Borough of South Plainfield in a tax
           appeal case with Commerce Bank.

09-084 Waive the Fire Permit Fee ($42.00) for the South Plainfield High School, Student            Leadership Group for an event to be held on April 25, 2009 from
           9am to midnight At South Plainfield High School
