1.   Meeting Call to Order by Mayor Butrico in accordance with the Open Public Meetings

      Act,  N.J.S.A. 10:4-6.

5.     Public Comment on Agenda items only

6.   Public Announcement:   The public hearing scheduled for the release of a performance bond requested by Jonathan Homes will be continued to the next Borough Council meeting which is scheduled for July 20, 2009 at 7:00pm.

7.  RESOLUTIONS:

09-187                 Approve the Certification of Preliminary Fiscal Year Tax Levies reflecting a Preliminary Estimated SFY 2010 Tax Levy of $15,969,606 and a Transition Year Budget Levy of $7,984,803.

09-188     Authorize the hiring of Justin Kaneps as a groundskeeper at a rate of $10.66
                per hour effective July 14, 2009.

09-189     Award a contract to Fai-gon Electric of Piscataway for the installation of the
               traffic control device damaged at the intersection of New Market Avenue
               and South Clinton Avenue at a cost not to exceed $27,500.

09-190      Authorize the purchase of a New Zetron 4 Position Dispatch Consoles
                from Tactical Public Safety via State Contract #A53824 in the amount of
                $146,285.00.  Purchase is contingent on final authorization from the U.S
                Department of Justice.

09-191     Authorize the appointment of a 911 Coordinator for South Plainfield Public
               Safety Answering Point.   Recommendation was given for Detective
                Sergeant James Foran as the 911 Coordinator for the South Plainfield
               Public Safety Answering Point.

09-192                Authorize the purchase of a six (6) 7100 Series Mobile Radios from
Tactical Public Safety via State Contract #A53753 in the amount of
$25,008.00; funding to come from the Fire Prevention Trust Fund.
