Compactor coupons are available at the Municipal Clerk’s
office from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday
in Borough Hall.

Each homeowner/resident is entitled to two (2) coupons
per calendar year. To qualify you must be the
owner or a tenant of a South Plainfield residential
property and you must reside at that address. 
Coupons are not available to absentee owners.

When picking up your compactor coupons you must
provide proof of ownership and residency. 
NJ drivers license and registration of vehicle
to be used in transporting items to the compactor
must be presented.  

For yard waste disposal at the Spicer Avenue facility
you only need a window sticker.  Window stickers
will now be permanent as long as you live in
South Plainfield and until you change vehicles
or license tag numbers.  Yard waste window stickers
are available when you pick up your compactor
coupons or may be obtained from the attendant
at the yard waste facility by showing your license
and registration documents.

Additional coupons can be purchased.
The cost for each additional coupon will be as follows:

Cars, station wagons or minivans - $35 each

Full size vans or pickup trucks (3/4 ton maximum ) - $70 each
