All pickups shall occur on the designated week except if weather conditions are
severe
Anyone who wishes to have their leaves picked up by the
Borough MUST PLACE the filled biodegradable
bags at the curb for collection.

WE WILL NOT
BE PICKING UP ANY LEAVES BAGGED IN PLASTIC. All leaves bagged in plastic MUST
BE taken to the compost site and completely emptied with bags not
left with the leaves, but discarded in the designated receptacles located at the site. .
This is to comply with composting rules and regulations. |

For your convenience the
compost area will be open Monday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. starting
November 12th through December 8th. 20 (twenty) free biodegradable paper bags will
be available to each homeowner at the Public Works Garage starting October 22nd through
November 21st from 7:30 am until 3:20 pm. Also the Public Works Garage will be open
on Saturday, November 3rd from 9:00am to 1:00pm. for pickup of bags only.
Residents MUST present a coupon to obtain these bags.
If additional bags are required they may be purchased by the homeowner at a venue
that sells biodegradable bags. |

Residents may bring their
leaves to the Borough's Compost Facility located on Kenneth avenue regardless of whether
they are bagged in biodegradable bags or in plastic. |
