*Request for a virtual court date*

Due to the current efforts to combat the Covid-19 outbreak and in order to reduce backlogs and crowded court sessions once normal activities have been restored. The South Plainfield Municipal Court will begin allowing court appearances using Zoom video conferencing. This option is voluntary and will be available for most court matters.

If you are interested in resolving your case via a virtual appearance please click here for the form.  Scheduling any matter for a virtual court session is dependent upon the court having a current email address on file. Please print and complete the form, the form needs to be faxed or scanned and emailed to spmc@southplainfieldnj.com . Once we receive the form, we will reschedule your case for a virtual hearing and will send the notification to your email address with the date and time of hearing.

You may choose to have a virtual hearing, phone conference or in-person appearance.

Defendants/Defense Attorneys can dispute any traffic ticket with a payable moving offense online via Online Dispute Resolution or via plea by mail. Please visit njmcdirect.com for further instructions.
