NJ Judiciary Mission Statement

We are an independent branch of government constitutionally entrusted with the fair and just resolution of disputes in order to preserve the rule of law and to protect the rights and liberties guaranteed by the Constitution and laws of the United States and this State.

The Municipal Court has the responsibility to manage all aspects of moving violations, parking, disorderly and petty disorderly complaints issued by the South Plainfield Police Department as well as the State Police and Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office for incidents occurring within the municipality.
