During 2026, the Borough of South Plainfield will proudly commemorate the 100 ^th anniversary of its incorporation, which took place on March 10, 1926. Since its founding in 1926, our community has grown from a small Borough into a vibrant and diverse hometown rooted in tradition, progress, and civic pride. As we celebrate this centennial milestone, we honor the generations of residents, leaders, businesses, and the many volunteers who have shaped South Plainfield’s past and continue to build its future.
