The Public Works Department is currently in the process of
implementing a tree preservation program. As a proactive approach
in maintaining our trees, we will be trimming and elevating our trees
located within the Borough's right-of-way and public property on an as needed basis. All residents are
welcome to call the Department of Public Works at 908-755-2187
if they are aware of any trees that need attention.
The CBA is looking for more roadside adopters. If litter bothers you and you would like to do something about it, contact the Clean Communities Coordinator at (908) 226-7621 or e-mail atempel@southplainfieldnj.com. One- and Two-year agreements are available for a variety of locations. We provide supplies, trash removal and publicity, and you provide the labor.
