Talking Trash - Where's the LItter?
The Clean Communities Advisory Board is planning for this fall’s Targeted Volunteer Litter Cleanup, scheduled for October 11. Unlike Volunteer Litter Cleanup Week in April, which aims to clean the entire Borough, the fall cleanup focuses in on one neighborhood or open space area that is so littered it will take many people working to get it clean.

The CCAB asks the public to suggest one or two spots around town that would qualify as a fall cleanup Target. Remember that our volunteers can work only along roadsides or in parks or publicly-owned open space areas. Privately owned properties, including privately owned vacant lots, are the responsibility of the property owner. . Please send your suggestions to the Clean Communities Coordinator at atempel@southplainfieldnj.com.
