If Road Construction Interferes with Recycling Collection

PSE&G has been laying new pipe in the northwest corner of the Borough. Some roads are blocked off and the recycling trucks can't get down. We had some problems last week, and confusion about whether or when bins would be emptied.

Going forward, PSE&G will tell the Borough where they will be working, and Solterra will try to start on those roads before 7 a.m. so they can empty bins before PSE&G closes the streets.

They will pick up any streets that still get missed on Saturday. So residents with full bins should just leave them at the curb and call the MCIA.

If any bins still have not been emptied by Saturday night, residents should contact the MCIA at 1-800-488-6242 to report it. But hopefully, that will not be necessary.
