The Staff Services Division is commanded by Captain Daniel Hoppe and is responsible for the various functions that support the other Divisions and the community. The (3) three major sections that make up Staff Services are:

Records

The records section maintains all police reports, evidence, found property, purchase orders, and handles all permit for the Police Department. For more information click here or call (908) 226-7670.

Motorists/pedestrians/other involved persons requesting  police accident reports can now access them online with our new link to  www.crashdocs.org

Communications

The Communications section has highly trained 9-1-1 Communications Operators. These Communications Specialists answer all in-coming emergency calls and dispatch the appropriate the Police, Fire, Rescue Squad and/or Advance Life Support units to your call. Information Technology

I.T. is responsible for forensic investigations as well as maintaining various inhouse technologies such as mobile data terminals in the patrol vehicles, networking and computer security.
