Compactor Hours

2025 COMPACTOR SCHEDULE

(Bulky Waste Only - no recyclables or electronics permitted in Compactor. Please go to the Recycling section on the home page for more information regarding disposal of those items.)   
 

Hours of Operation: 7 :00 a.m.(revised 3/20/25)  to 3:00 p.m.

APRIL 19, 2025

MAY 10, 2025

JUNE 7, 2025

JUNE 21, 2025

SEPTEMBER 6, 2025

OCTOBER 4, 2025

NOVEMBER 1, 2025

Compactor will be closed for the months of January, February, March, July, August and December.

South Plainfield residents are entitled to two (2) visits to the compactor per calendar year ( Apartment and Condominium/Townhouse Complexes are NOT INCLUDED in this program).  If additional coupons are requested (max of 3 additional per household), the cost for each coupon is as follows:

Cars, Station Wagons or Minivans - $35.00 each

Full size Vans or Pickup Trucks (3/4 ton max) - $70.00 each
