LEAF COLLECTION PROGRAM 2024
Starting the week of October 21, 2024 running for eight (8) successive weeks, ending the week of December 13, 2024.
All Pick-ups shall occur on the designated day except if weather conditions are severe. Each week the Pick-ups will be as follows:

PLEASE NOTE: Trucks will continue leaf pick-ups in all sections until December 13, 2024.
Anyone who wishes to have their leaves picked up by the Borough MUST PLACE the filled biodegradable bags at the curb for collection.
WE WILL NOT BE PICKING UP ANY LEAVES BAGGED IN PLASTIC. All leaves bagged in plastic MUST BE taken to the compost site and completely emptied with bags not left with the leaves, but discarded in the designated receptacles located at the site. This is to comply with composting rules and regulations.

January 1, 2024 to March 31, 2024
SATURDAY 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
April 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024
MONDAY 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
TUESDAY 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
WEDNESDAY 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
THURSDAY 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
FRIDAY 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
SATURDAY 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Yard Waste Site will be closed on the following Borough Holidays
5/27/24, 6/21/24,7/4/24, 9/2/24, 10/14/24, 11/5/24, 11/28/24, 11/29/24, 12/25/24

20 (twenty) free biodegradable paper bags will be available to each homeowner at the Public Works Garage starting *** Tuesday, October 15, 2024 and ending Friday, November 22, 2024 *** from 7:00 am until 3:15 pm . (Please note we are closed on Borough Holidays. Check with Borough Clerk's office for holiday schedules.)

The Public Works Garage will be open on Saturday, October 19th, and
Saturday, October 26th, 2024 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm for leaf bag pickup and 2025 compactor vouchers and yard waste decals. -
Residents MUST present a coupon to obtain leaf bags.

If additional bags are required they may be purchased by the homeowner at a venue that sells biodegradable bags.

Residents may bring their leaves to the Borough's Compost Facility located on Kenneth Avenue regardless of whether they are bagged in biodegradable bags or in plastic (they must be emptied if they are in plastic).
